Benzlers, founded in 1944 in Sweden, began as a trading company that introduced products such as chain drives and V-belt drives to the market. The business grew rapidly, and within its first year, several branches were established in different Swedish cities. By the late 1950s, Benzlers had begun its own in-house gearbox production, leading to the creation of the Salagaevell gearbox. This success facilitated the company’s expansion into foreign markets, with exports reaching several European countries.
The company’s development continued through the 1960s, consolidating its offerings with new product series. During this time, Benzlers also began producing screw jacks at its headquarters in Helsingborg. In 2010, Elecon acquired the Benzlers-Radicon Group, the power transmission division of a UK-based company. Today, Benzlers has over 70 years of experience in engineering high-quality gearboxes, jacks, and transmission solutions for a global market. The company provides both standard and customized solutions tailored to meet customers’ unique specifications. SKF, which previously supplied roller bearings for Benzlers’ gearboxes, has since extended its services to include radial shaft seals. European Electronics proudly stocks and supplies Benzlers products, ensuring top quality backed by a warranty and providing swift delivery.
Benzlers specializes in mechanical power transmission components, manufacturing a wide range of industrial gearboxes, including worm gears, helical gears, planetary gearboxes, wind turbine gearboxes, and high-speed gearboxes. Additionally, the company produces various types of couplings such as highly flexible couplings (HFC-A), Elflex flexible couplings, Elign geared couplings, and fluid couplings, including scoop-controlled variable speed fluid couplings. Other products include screw jacks, open gears, custom-built solutions, and gear pumps, making Benzlers a comprehensive provider of transmission solutions for industrial applications.
